FAITH FORMATION (6-8)

Lebanon Catholic is a special place because of the tremendous heritage we have as a faith community.  At Lebanon Catholic, students will attend religious studies classes, prayer services, Eucharistic Adoration, retreats and have the opportunities for prayer and reflection.

Students will have the opportunity to help plan these events.  Students may also serve in other ways.  Alter servers, lectors and Sacristans all come from our student body.  Feel encouraged to volunteer even if you have never done these things in your home parish.

If you wish to speak with someone about your faith, there are any number of persons with whom you should feel comfortable. Two special persons are Mr. Scott Root, our Campus Minister and the priest who is assigned to Lebanon Catholic as our Chaplain.  Students who are not Catholic are required to participate in the spiritual life of Lebanon Catholic through attendance at school wide and class religious assemblies and through the completion of our religious studies curriculum.

PHILOSOPHY

Middle School students are unique in many ways.  They do not need the structure of the Elementary grades, but they are not ready for the independence of High School.  They need guidance in Spiritual development, academic, study, and organizational skills. They also need opportunities for social development that are appropriate for their age.

In order to meet the needs of Lebanon Catholic School’s 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students, the Administration and the Middle School Team will implement the policies and strategies outlined in the Middle School/High School handbook.
